Team Extranet: INTRANET GROUP CALENDAR and INTRANET CONTACT MANAGEMENT SOLUTION
Team Extranet's Intranet Group Calendar functionality makes it easy for anyone to allow the entire team to know when something is due or when information is needed. No more lost emails or voicemails unplayed, by posting an event in your own calendar, which you would probably do anyway, you have the power to notify EVERYONE in your organization of that important date. Not only will events appear in the calendars of the people you choose to notify, but you can also "alert" them via email that you've posted something important that requires their attention.
- Announce and post to your team's or company's calendars the time, place description and date of a meeting, tradeshow, product roll-out, or any other "event" that impacts others in your organization. When a calendar event is made "public" all the system users can see it, whether they log-in today, tomorrow or next week. The time registers on their personal calendars and is blocked as "busy", so they see to schedule around the event.
- Send an alert to invited attendees by email when the event is first entered in the calendar(s) and then set a future reminder that emails your prospective "guests" again as close to the event time as you choose.
- Scheduling or venue changes can also be added after you've initially posted an event and of course, a one button click will "alert" your list of attendees via email that changes have been made.
- Of course, events can always be posted as "private" allowing only the user who created the event to see it on his/her calendar.
Team Extranet's Intranet Contact database also gives you the flexibility to enter information as "public", viewable and usable by everyone in your organization or "private", only accessible by you.
- Team Extranet's contact database allows you to import existing data from spreadsheets, mailing lists, or even your Outlook database.
- You can also enter contacts one at a time. Either way, you can always designate a lead or contact private or public.
- The contacts database is also integrated with the Leads database in Team Extranet's Communication Tools component.
